Small steps can make a big difference. Here are some things you can do:

 

  • Recognize the many faces of domestic violence, which is not just physical
  • Learn about open communications and how to express your thoughts
  • Treat others as you would like to be treated. Learn about mutual respect

  • Bring your family, meet old friends or make new ones at Shanti Project activities:

     

  • File Series - eat samosas and drink chai, while watching movies.
  • Theater - watch, or be part of, a short play to raise awareness
  • Workshops - informative and interactive discussions about family relationships
